True Wellness Transportation is a for-profit, family-owned non-emergency medical transportation company proudly serving Buffalo, Getzville, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga, Williamsville, Lancaster, and the surrounding Western New York communities.
Founded by husband and wife team Darren and Talisa Saxon, True Wellness was born out of a simple but urgent realization: people with mobility challenges, seniors, and patients in need of specialized transport deserve better. After witnessing firsthand the delays, long wait times, and lack of professionalism too often experienced in the industry, Talisa and Darren felt called to build something different — a service rooted in Excellence, faith, compassion, and integrity.
As the female majority owner and CEO, Talisa brings a unique perspective to what is largely a male-dominated industry. Together with Darren as co-owner, their mission is not just to grow a business, but to set a higher standard for what medical transportation can and should be.
Unlike many curb-to-curb services, True Wellness goes beyond the ride. We escort clients from their residence or facility door, into a clean, comfortable, wheelchair- or stretcher-accessible vehicle, and safely to their appointment check-in. We treat every patient with the dignity, care, and respect we would give our own loved ones — because we know firsthand how stressful it is to entrust family to someone else’s hands.
With Western New York’s senior population steadily growing, and with many providers voicing the urgent need for more stretcher and bariatric-capable transportation, the need for a reliable, compassionate solution has never been greater. At True Wellness Transportation, we are stepping in to fill that gap — with timely, professional, and compassionate service that puts people first.
